This is going to be a log of our trip to Alaska in our Cesna 172. My name is Gary Petrich and my partner in the plane is Cliff Korn. We have both owned the plane for 10 years and this will be my first time flying to Alaska, but Cliff has flown it in a Piper Cub with his son. Our plan is to leave Hayward Wisconsin on June 3rd and fly up to Dawson Creek British Columbia then fly the Alaskan highway to Wasilla Alaska. I will try to keep everyone informed of our progress.
